Summer Hours

With all that's going on in the world, I forgot that it's summer.

I spent another week devoting one whole hour to my project. I also started doing some consulting, which took up most of the time I would have dedicated to my project. It was another busy week in my life, because we had our first family BBQ ever.

Progress

I started styling the form for adding a listing, but I need to add more form fields. I also have to set up the mechanism for adding pictures. I'm pretty sure I'm just going to use Firebase Storage. I've used it before for another project, so it shouldn't take too long to get that going.

Life

I've forgot that it's summer, which means I'm going to be busier with life. Especially now, because quarantine restrictions are being loosened. That's why we had our family BBQ. I've never done anything BBQ related except for putting burgers on a grill and flipping them. Maintaining a BBQ is a whole different story, so I learned a lot about BBQ maintenance this week. I got our gifted BBQ all cleaned up and successfully grilled some burgers and hot dogs on it. I got lucky with the propane, because it ran out at the end of the cooking session.

I want to say that I'm going to have time to work on my project, but I'm pretty sure something unexpected will come up, or I've forgotten about some event that my wife is planning (that's my special power). Oh well, I'll still try to put in some project time. Ten hours a week, right? :)
