And now back to our regularly scheduled programming

I'm back to somewhat of a routine.

I managed to get the self-signed SSL certificate to work for me, which was cool. I had to do a bit of playing around with it, because when people talk about how to get it to work, they like to leave out a lot of detail. Sometimes they set up examples that outright didn't work. Or, maybe I was being a bonehead. What ended working was following an example that I thought was more complicated than it had to be. I tried other examples, but it turned out the supposed complexity was necessary to generate the cert correctly. I guess that's the way it goes sometimes.

Now, I can move onto shamelessly posting on behalf of people's Facebook accounts when they log onto my site with their Facebook account. On their behalf I can post something like, "Hey, I just started following this new racist comedian, you should check them out!"

I'm not serious.

As for time spent on projects, I still want to put in a little more time on a more consistent basis. I should be able to accomplish that this week.

Life

I just realized that there were a bunch of typos in my post last week, so I fixed them. It's okay, because I can write that off as being part of my temporary regression.

Anyways, I'm back to exercising regularly and I'm feeling better already, so I'm happy with that. (As a side note, I just had a difficult time spelling 'exercising'. Was that ironic or coincidental? I'm not sure. I can't think at the moment.)

As for family, I had a great weekend with them. My daughter was finally able to play with a kid her age at the park, but then she broke the kid's heart when we had to leave. He stood there watching her leave, saying he still wanted to play. I witnessed the beginning of a cycle that would repeat itself until my daughter married someone. I felt for the young man, but them's the breaks.
