I didn't get much done this week. I managed to get my new project deployed and working in production. It turns out I thought I was building it before deploying, but I wasn't. This was a rookie Firebase mistake. It's working now, so that's all that matters. I started working on logging into my app with a Facebook account, so I needed some icons from Font Awesome. They have some new crazy ways to get something as simple as icons being displayed in an Angular project, but I couldn't go for it, because I'm using the PrimeNG library that doesn't play nice with the new way. Also, I don't want to take the time to understand this new way of adding icons into my project, because it doesn't seem like there's any immediate benefit. Maybe later I'll take the time to understand.
Life
I didn't exercise much this week and I now I feel dirty. I did manage to cut my grass and prune some hedges. I always forget how relaxing it can be to do yard work. Hopefully this week won't be as busy.
