The hours that I'm reporting come from the week beginning May 10 and ending May 16. During that time I decided I'm only going to integrate logging in with a Facebook, Google, and Twitter account. I was going to use the Firebase libraries, but I decided to use the libraries provided by these providers and use them with Typescript.
I signed up for a Facebook developer account and read their docs about login buttons and official styling for the Facebook login buttons, which was both funny (it's not supposed to be funny) and informative. I mean, it's a login button. Anyways, I was able to prompt the user to login with their Facebook account to log in to my site, but I still need to associate the login with an account on my site. I'll need to do some thinking about how I want to go about doing that. I also want to require the most minimal amount of permissions for my site to accept a Facebook login, so I don't creep people out.
Aside from the login button, I didn't get anything else done.
Life
I almost missed two weeks worth of workouts, which is a lot. I still feel in shape, but I miss those workouts. Things have finally slowed down in my life, so I can get back to working out and getting those gains.
Aside from that, I'm thinking about going back to the whole tutorial thing or some variation of it. I'm going to attempt to build more of a following than just my mom and my wife. I'm doing this mainly out of curiosity (and vanity). Also, I still have some goals to accomplish from my 2021 goals list. I'm getting close and the halfway mark is near, so you better believe I'm going for it. I'm going for the glory. That last sentence was not meant to be taken seriously.
